2020 Applejack and Mini Applejack High Jump Competitions

On Saturday July 25, 2020, the annual Applejack and Mini Applejack Memorial High Jump competitions were held at Canterbury Manor Stables.   This special competition is named for world champion and Grand Prix winner Diamond’s Applejack….a homebred Canterbury horse. He jumped the Applejack jump at 6’3″ – and during his career jumped 7′. Canterbury offers two high jump competitions at the annual Applejack show: the Mini Applejack, which starts at 2′ and finishes at a maximum height around 4′, and the Applejack, which starts at 3′ and has no upper limit.

The 2020 competition was full of excitement, with many riders exceeding heights that they or their horse had ever jumped before. Congratulations to the competitors and winners!
